Niche Blogs – Adding Posts to Your Niche Blog

Niche Blog Posting Guidelines

I am sure you have heard “Content is King!”.  Well that is certainly true, however, adding posts to your niche blogs does not have to be an overwhelming task.  You should add content to your niche blog with your readers in mind.  Your goal is to fill a unique need in a way that no other web site does.  This will ensure you can build a lasting readership among your readers.

Even if your niche blog is overall personal, you must still target and address any needs or concerns of your readers. You have to think of something that interest or confounds them and offer solutions or stimulating conversation.

All niche blog post should contain these features:

Title- Which allows you to label your post and tell your readers what to expect within the content.
Body- This is the content of your post and should stimulate your readers to read more and return to your blog frequently for updates.
Trackback- Other sites can be linked back to your blog and help establish your site as an authority site.
Permanent link- Every article that you write has a unique URL that you can edit to fit your preferences.
Comments- This allows readers to post comments on your niche blog so you can form a relationship with your readers.  This is also an excellent way to have your finger on what your readers want to read next as you add content to your niche blogs.

Niche Blogs Need More than Words

Many bloggers focus solely on the words within their posts, however, niche blogs need more than words to capture the attention of your readers and keep them coming back for more.  Consider reading a magazine cover to cover and not seeing even 1 picture. EEK!  That would be a horrible experience for anyone.  Your blog readers are stimulated by words and attracted and motivated by pictures.  Add pictures, graphics, images, and video to your niche blogs posts to ensure your readers are not bored to sleep by your posts.

Remember that old adage, “A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words”?  You do not have to put a picture of yourself in your posts, although you could if you feel comfortable with that.  You could put any picture, image, or video that is relative to your niche blogs posts.

Add Content that is Precise and Easy to Read

Remember to target any and all level of readers on your blog.  Make your niche blog posts clear, precise, and easy to read.  It will not help to have excellent content but most of your readers cannot interpret your advanced vocabulary.  Most blog readers enjoy niche blog posts with uncomplicated words and clear plots.  Also, try to keep blog posts between 300-500 to ensure you don’t lose your blog reader’s attention with long rambling posts.  If you must write a long post, use many paragraphs as you add content.
